Printmaking by Jane Martin

jane’s Art Practices

Jane Martin, Printmaker

This side of my work features original linocut and reduction prints—each one carved by hand and printed in small editions using a cold press laminator. These pieces are built up in layers of ink, often drawing from Southern culture and food, personal memory. These are the prints I bring to juried shows and galleries, and they’re meant to invite closer attention.

Delightful Print CLub

The Delightful Print Club is my monthly mail club for anyone who wants a little more handmade art in their mailbox. Each month, I send out small original prints, stickers, notes, and paper goods inspired by Southern food, household nostalgia, bayou daydreams, gothic botanicals, and whatever has been keeping me curious in the studio. It is an easy, affordable way to support my printmaking practice.

Martin Spark press

Martin Spark Press is where I keep things playful, useful, and affordable. Here, you’ll find hand-carved rubber stamps, simple block prints, and creative tools for small businesses, gift-givers, and stationery lovers. These pieces are designed to be any combination of functional, fun, and a little easier on the budget—but still made by hand, start to finish, right here in Laurel, Mississippi.
