This gallery highlights a selection of finished linocut prints created under the Jane Martin, Printmaker name—where hand-carved linoleum, layered color, and Southern culture come together in bold, detailed artwork.
Each print in this collection is the result of slow, thoughtful process work—carved by hand, layered with intention, and printed in small batches using a cold press laminator. I draw inspiration from the textures of Southern food, the rhythm of everyday life, and the storytelling traditions I grew up with in Louisiana and now carry forward in Laurel, Mississippi.
My reduction linocuts create a bold commitment without turning back. The results are rich in color, texture, and feeling.
Whether you’re an art collector, a gallery representative, or simply someone who loves seeing where a careful hand and a sharp carving tool can go—thank you for taking a look. This is the work I pour the most time and heart into, and I’m proud to share it with you.
